Went out to experience riding in dense fog. Freezing fog as it turned out to be.
A ship with blazing lights as if plowing through the cobblestones. It was already challenging to stop and take the camera out. Placed it on a garbage container with numb fingers.
Crossed the road here to capture the red glow of the Willemsbrug emerging from the fog. Amazing how fog extra darkens everything in the night.
The Erasmusbrug was hardly visible at all. On the bridge itself the strong lights were very impressive but I had no place to put the camera for a prolonged exposure. Need that gorillapod...
Every metal surface was covered with a thin layer of ice. Very slippery on the metal grid on this stucture. Nice geometrics in this pic, but I am speeding home after this. The windchill factor is enormous in this stuff brrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Still a great experience :)
